Fault code 13

1992 Mercedes TE 300
The VIN number isWDBEA90D7NF194832. To find the fault I started the car then turned it off. I then went to the little black box on the front right side under the hood and held down the button for a few seconds then released and watched the red light flash 13 times.

Out Of Control!!
After a more closer look at the factory diagnostics docs I am retracting my comments. There are too many inconsistencies in the data and my lack of experience with your engine to come up with a correct answer.
