E300 Hybrid issues...
Before I post the issue I'm currently facing I thought I'd better introduce myself. As you can probably see my name is Khalid, I live in sunny Luton 😂 and I drive an E300 Hybrid for a living. I bought the E class as I was trading from a Lexus and didn't want a bloody Prius. I have never had so many issues with a car in my life but I suppose tbf I do an exceptionally high number of miles per week.
OK enough about me, onto the issue at hand. I had the Mercedes breakdown bloke visit as the car was in limp mode. Cut a long story short he replaced a hose that had a hole in it and said it was a common fault, so common I can't find anything on the net regarding the issue. That was 18 months ago and guess what it's back. I have tried to look for the receipt to identify the hose but for the life of me...
It took him about 15 minutes to replace so I presume it's not a hard job. If I can't replace it myself at least I know what is being replaced and what I'm paying for.
Ok what's the issue? I'm unable to use the paddle shift gears in either eco or sport mode, the car revs to about 3000 rpm and appears to stay there before dropping to about 2000 between gear changes and when the car is coming to a stop by use of the foot brake it judders uncomfortably.
Can anyone shed any light on what's going on?
Thanks in advance
Khalid
