Hello! With a '73 280E!

Hi all,
I'm Warren, and I own a 1973 W114 280E which I bought from the original owner from new. It's been a massive project, but it's tidying up (the guy seems to have been duped by mechanics for a long time). I'm not making any severe changes, just replacing what needs doing with new factory parts, and replacing any rusted bolts and nuts with shiny ones, and doing a LOT of polishing

I'm having trouble getting it started after a complete top-end and bay rebuild, hence the registration! So please check my post and if you know something I don't please can you help me? It's my only car and it's a 40 min walk from home just to work on it, and it's been 2 months now!!! So you can imagine my keenness to start the engine.
