Hey everyone, a warm hello from sunny South Africa. Brand new to the site, but not to the brand. Was a proud owner of a 350SLK, but decided to “upgrade” (as recently as a few days ago) to a 2007 SL55. The car is immaculate with 58000kms on the clock. The car has been given a clean bill of health so all looks good at this stage. I think a huge part of my anxiety stems from all the horror stories I’ve come across from past and existing SL55 owners, yet still decided to take a leap of faith.
