NEW MEMBER HERE!!! BUT I NEED HELP!
I have a 2006 E350 with 105K miles... I love the car... BUT recently my brakes went out while driving. Dash was lite up with Brake messages ect...I was able to find some information here that made me realize there was a problem with the SBC pump. And would possible need to be replaced. Well the light went off, the brakes seemed fine so I just continued driving. But it was always in my fore thought that I needed to get this corrected. The price and lack of knowledge of a good MB mechanic just stopped me from moving forward. I just took it in to a local shop and yes it is the SBC need to be replaced. Can anyone give me some insight on this??? Where I can get a pump at a decent price? Is it worth it? Should I just get a new car... UGH! HELP! I am afraid to put a couple of thousand dollars into this car and still have issues.
