2005 S430. When I open the trunk, not using the fob, the doors lock up and the battery dies within 12 hours!!! Recently bought the car. I figured if I lock the car, the battery drains and the rear right door unlocks. Put a new battery and didn't lock the doors. Things were great for 6 weeks. I didn't start the car for two weeks and battery was full of charge. The close assist and soft close of trunk don't work. But now when I open the trunk by touching the trunk, the car locks up. If I use the fob to open the trunk, the doors don't lock. I have a feeling that close assist and soft close need a reset. The close assist pump works when I directly connect it the battery. All help is appreciated.
