2011mercedes benz e350 bluetec
Nox sensor.

CEL on my 2011 e350 bluetec. Plug in my zurich zr 11 the code shows p229f something to do with nox sensor. First I did cleared It after around 200 miles CEL back again. This took it to dealer after wait for almost 6 hrs .the called to inform me something to do with adblue pump he told me everything covered under emission warranty free of charge leave the car overnight. After 1500 miles more or less Cel back hooked OBDII same code took it to dealer never mentioned about my OBDII. After 4 hrs got call that my downstream nox sensor to replaced it will cost around $1500 I declined pick up my car cost me $150.00 so much for that. I bought the sensor online for about $460.00. I can replace the sensor my question is do I need to bring the car to mb dealer for MB Star gadget that I read in the forum while back before I purchase my bluetec.
Thanks for all help..
