722.6 Shifting 3-4
Hi, i have recently did some suspension work on my 2002 e320, had the car sitting for a week while i had to order more parts. I had a small trans leak i thought i had fixed but everything drained out when it was sitting at an angle. I didnt know at first but i was driving home and it felt like it had went from 3 gear to 1st and it was a forceful jerk and then went into neutral till i slowed down to about 5mph. Realized right away that it need fluid so i filled it up and didnt have anymore issues. Until i really started driving i had realized that now it wont shift from 3rd to 4th when im on the gas. As soon as i let my foot off it shifts. It feels like its just hitting redline until i get off the throttle but i havent held it down so i dont know if it will continue to do that or eventually shift. Not sure what it is, other than that it shifts smooth, no slipping and before i fixed the leak (or so i thought) i drained and filled the trans and installed a filter. Any info will help, thinking its more electronical than mechanical.
