2004 c320 4matic wagon
New Benz member
Hi! I am a proud owner of a 2004 c320 wagon 4matic. I’m new to the Benz platform as I came from a WRX Subaru ( needed to be an adult, lol ).
Picked Ed up a used 2004 c320 wagon 4matic with 99,000 original miles 1 owner for $4,800. It’s in really good condition, inside the leather is almost new-like ( needs some detailing/cleaning etc ). Engine is strong and up to date with maintenance.
I only had had to replace all wheels ( found oem new for cheap ) picked up some new tires and got all the windows tinted. Because I live in New England I have some rust on the lower end of the driver and passenger doors that are being taken care of this week by a proper body shop.
The only thing I wanna do is replace the stock radio with a double-din. Issues I’m running into are that I have the Bose fiber optic system that apparently I’ll need some sort of box/converter .... and I wanna toss out the cd changer in the glove box.
I had seen some double din radios on eBay that look like they fit perfectly without any extra plastic trim. Has anyone ever bought one of these? 2. Are they easy to “plug and play “. If one could lead me into the or send me a link of swapping out the stock radio for a double din and how to etc I would be grateful.
Thank you.
