Are you located in the United States? It seems a C300 with a class 1 hitch is rated for 2,000 lbs. What model of wave runner do you tow?
Pulling out of water is not difficult, I have been towing watercraft for 25 years. 4WD/AWD/4MATIC is not required, but it is helpful. Check that the watercraft is secured to the trailer before attempting to pull it out of the water. Start slowly and gradually accelerate after you have confirmed the craft is secure on the trailer and the vehicle has good traction.
