NEWBE 1996 E300 DIESEL W210 - GERMAN MANUF.

I just purchased my first German/Foreign Car....1996 E300 DIESEL W210
I have found by researching the VIN thats its Manufactured in Rastatt and would like to know the differences in where they were manufactured if any.
The car has 332,056 miles and still runs great, doesn't burn any oil, about 39 miles per gallon diesel. The exterior is a bit rough with the clear coat peeling off the hood and a few dings. But I plan on fixing up some and hope I get a lot more miles out of her.
The Key FOB for it is broken (chip broken), so I cant utilize any of those features and its to costly to get another made. Unless anybody know how to program there own? Please respond if you do!
