Alternator help
I have a 2003 mercedes c230 kompressor sport 4 door sedan. Since ive bought the car it has alternator trouble where the alternator wont provide a steady charge. Only upon acceleration does it produce 14.2 the drops to approx 13.3 at idle. Ive put 3 different units and have checked ground and continuity. Ive been putting in reman bosh units from orilliys cause that what i pulled. Ive done research and have seen there are bosh and valeo units and have seen that you have to use what came with it. Im wondering if it was supposed to have a valeo and thats not why it working and if theres a way to k ow what it came out of factory with. Please help it my daily and im a mechanic that works 6 days of the week. This is becoming a real hassle haha.
