New guy checking in, considering buying my first MB... Conflicted between a C63 and E63 so I'll be creeping around the forums reading alot lol. Currently driving a ford F250 that's far from a family friendly vehicle.

You'll want to creep around the W211 AMG sub-forum. Lots of technically-minded folks there with E55s and E63s.

I'm looking more into a W213 E63 and a W205 C63... Sadly I've realized that most people that own any vehicle that KBBs over $60k are not exactly the most mechanically inclined lol.

Welcome to the AMG family! I’m also in Vegas, Summerlin area to be exact. Now depends what you’re looking for regarding your choice between the W213 E63 and W205 C63. E class have usually been the higher performance focused model from AMG and aftermarket world.

Here is a detail difference of them:

W205 C63 S

Displacement: 3982cc
Bore x Stroke: 83mm x 92mm
Horsepower: 503
Torque: 516 lb-ft
Redline: 7000 rpm
Compression Ratio: 10.5:1
Boost: 17.4 psi

W213 E63 S

Displacement: 3982cc
Bore x Stroke: 83mm x 92mm
Horsepower: 603
Torque: 627 lb0ft
Redline: 7000 rpm
Compression Ratio: 8.6:1
Boost: 21.8 psi

My choice would be the W213 E63s. Same motor but different compression and more room for boost.
