Hello everybody. First of all I want to wish you a new happy new year and all your wishes become real in 2019. My English is not very good but I guess we can make it. Never learned it to school. I'm 37, living in the old city of Braila, Romania, and I'm an economist. Recently I bought a Mercedes Benz C200 Kompressor (S203) German Edition.
I will explain. I know this engine (M111) wasn't available in US and as I've seen so far people are not familiar with this engine. Is a 4 cylinder 2 liters, petrol engine with 164HP.
The car wasn't expensive, it was all I could afford. Is a station wagon car, a variant of the saloon which is named W203, this one has the codename S203, and I'm sure was popular also in the US. At 211.000 Km, it was well kept, the engine is working like a charm, the interior is like brand new. I do have a few points of rust on the exterior. I need to take care of but nothing to be worried of. I'm a M.B. fan and I loved this classic design since first they hit the market and I was just finishing the high-school, which is year 2000. I was watching them on the streets and they where pretty rare back then since Romania always been a poor country but back then even more so. It was my dream and I went for it after I crashed my Mitsubishi. Everybody told me to keep away from M.B, specially if is 16 years old (2002) but I took the chance and since now I'm not let down at all. Is clearly well built compared to many other brands. My Mtisubishi was from 2006, I took it brand new and the interior was starting to go down the drain. If you look at both cars from interior you could say the Mitsubishi is the old one and the Mercedes the new one. I can't wait for the summer time to solve the problems with rust. They are like a black spot on my mind.
I can't wait to meet new friends in here, and with time (while I learn about my car) I really hope to be helpful.
