Will Glow plug control module failure make the oxygen sensor heater circuit open?
I have a 2008 mb e320 diesel, my wife was driving it for a while. She used to drive gas cars, and did not know that she should wait the Glow plug light off then to start the engine. She always started the engine without pay attention to the light. Then the check engine light is on. Use my OBD-II scan, I got the DTC code P0670, P2270, and P2243. I understand P0670 means Glow plug control module may be bad, but P2270 tells me the O2 sensor Lean stuck, and P2243, said O2 sensor open circuit. I checked live data while driving, the o2 sensors will have zero volts only after maybe 5 minutes engine started, they will work as normal, showing voltage from 0.1 to 1.3 v.
I guessed the oxygen sensors heater circuits affected by the Glow plug control module failure due to my wife's negligence. Can anybody give me a hint?
If my guessing makes sense, will I replace the Glow plug control module fix both glow plug issue and oxygen sensors open circuit problem?
