Looking to purchase a 1985 Mercedes 380SL
Good afternoon. I am Jay, from Midlothian, VA. I am new to Mercedes, never owned one. I came across a 1985 Mercedes 380 SL, with 231K miles, an exceptionally clean car that has been well maintained. Will be taking it to the local Mercedes dealer that has been performing the maintenance on the car, to perform a head to toe inspection on it and hopefully give a comprehensive report on it. The high mileage is a concern for me, since this would be my first Mercedes. The asking price seems fair and it comes with a soft top as well as the hardtop and a car cover. I am looking for some 2 cents worth of opinions to see if I should pursue this car or avoid it because of its high mileage.
