W222 CPO Battery and jerking gear

Newbie here. Bought my 2015 S550 CPO in September 2018. Only drove about 6k miles over time and took it in for jerking downshift from 5th to 4th when stopping. Advisor said Technicans couldn’t replicate the issue so I will go myself to see if they notice it. Anyone had similar issues? Service adviser said there were no code or software issue.

Also upon checking, he said that there are under voltage codes and quoted $499 to replace battery. Does anyone know if a new battery is installed when dealer certifies a car? Average life is about 3-4 years. Do you think I can argue that battery is faulty? Thank you for helping.
