I had to wait until the car I lusted after got old enough I could afford it.
Now I'm in, SL55 is mine. I'm retired, my daily driver got less than 4k miles last year, the SL won't get nearly that much.
To date myself I'll paraphrase Ferris Buellar's Day Off, "I don't drive it, I just look at it and rub it with a diaper."
Lots to learn, looking forward to finding out much more about this garage beast I have.
Welcome, very nice ride. I test drove a 2013 SL 550 and came close to buying it. It is a beautiful car. I decided I wanted the convenience of 4 doors with the look of a coupe. Bought a CLS 550 instead of SL.

CLS has a "swoopy" look I find appealing. In the end, it's just the wife and I, so the roadster fit the dream better.
