Headlight broken

Headlight broken
I recently got into a minor accident and the driver side of the headlight is broken. There wasn't damage done to the actual headlight, but the plastic that keeps it firm (inside the hood) is broken. My dealer is saying that I need a new headlight, but I'm thinking its an easy fix if I could have a body shop piece the broken plastic together.. thoughts?

Welcome! Please post a photo of the C300. Hard to say. The dealer knows about these things. Try taking it to a body shop for an opinion. The broken piece might be on the headlamp housing itself, inside the engine compartment.
