03 E320 battery module (N82)
I have 2 no CAN communication errors that point to the N82 (BCM). Is there any way to check that it is bad? I have checked the OBD2 port on 6 $ 14 (CAN pins) and it shows all is well as far as the resistance and voltages. The main issue I have is the dreaded Red Battery and visit workshop instrument cluster warnings. Also the battery drain is 180 millivolts at rest (quiescence) so my battery would go deadish 2 days later if I didn't have a slow trickle charge on it. All fuses show no voltage drop. Don't know how to check relays or even if I should or need to. There are a couple of other codes like the rain sensor and light sensor and I think ESP.

Welcome! Please post a photo of the E320. How old is the battery? If older than 4 years, I would replace it. Also replace the auxiliary battery if the vehicle has one. M-Bs give strange behavior when batteries are in less than perfect condition.

9123 Fault in CAN communication with Power supply Control Module
930E Sync of the DTC memory cannot be ensured
9044 Battery control module is not sending data on the CAN bus
9091 Communication fault with B38/2 RLS (rain/light sensor) No response received.
Any insight appreciated. Does this for sure mean the battery power control module N82 is bad?
