Mercedes R280 Diesel RWD , Transmission problem
Hi guys
I am new to this forum. Recently I have had problem with transmission on my car, when its got hot and when I turn off the car and on then it will be in 1 gear all time. Read the faulty code, it's P2725. I have changed the fluid and so on which didn't help. I know that the p2725 is solenoid E electrical. I opened and cleaned the solenoid and tested the solenoids, I think they are all in working condition.
I got a chance to change the transmission for a very good price, my question is, can I change the transmission from mercedes w211 which have same engine(diesel) and same horsepower and rear wheel drive just like mine, is it possible to change it? if yes, do I need to reprogram the transmission? both transmissions are 722.902 mine and the one on w211.
