Greetings and salutations,
This forum has been of tremendous help with my first “Benzo”, a 2000 ML 320. Sorry no pictures, but then again it’s nothing special. My step son is driving it currently.
I was so impressed with it that I decided to buy an ‘04 c240 as a third car. 133k miles, a stack of receipts, California car. I have to say the ML was one of the best cars ever and so far I’m loving the C240.
Thanks for all the help so far. Hopefully I can contribute in a positive way. The first thing I plan on doing as a preventative measure is to replace the transmission electrical connector. My Ml had transmission issues when I bought it at 170k. I thought I bought a lemon. Thanks to this forum I learned that the the electrical connector gets soaked in trans fluid. Lo-and-behold, mine was completely wet. I replaced it and it shifted perfectly. I never would have known if not for this forum!
