purchased my first Benz last year an 08 R350
Unfortunately purchased a faulty fuel pump from rock auto which caused my car to go up in flames cause of a vapor leak that ignited so then got a 2011 Mercedes R350 that I’m building up first doing some physical styling upgrades I’ve done the chrome delete going all black and doing black on the factory amg 20 inch rims and candy red on the calipers and carbon fiber on the wood trim. Looking for ideas from polished members that I guess been there done that. Looking to swap my ugly factory steering wheel with a cls sports wheel I’ve seen on here so if I need any helping advice on how to that will be great. Going with an after market Tesla style headunit 13.3 inch screen looking at all black 22 inch Mercedes oem or aftermarket wheels also looking for help finding CF upgrades vendors etc. any help is appreciated and also how do you post pics on here so I can post my turtle race progression due to this covid.
sounds like a dope build, i have no knowledge of upgrading steering wheels but be careful with a bunch of diff electronic components. You could possibly short something in the long run and trigger a code of some sort.
Well I’m trying I actually got the steering wheel idea from a post here. A guy put a cls steering wheel into an R63 and looked great So attempting to go from stock to cla steering wheel From this to hopefully This here.
thanks can’t wait till I get done with the upgrades with the looks then to get into bigger and better ideas and mods. But once I get the factory amg rims powder coated and the calipers powder coated I’ll take 360 degree pics
