Hello everyone 
So i made my account here as right now i’m in the research phase about the type of car i’m hoping to get in 2022, hopefully a W221 S450 or S550. Taking my time due to circumstance but also to educate myself on big things, small things, weird things, basically what to expect when i eventually DO get one and bring it home.
Im under no illusion that it will be a cheap to maintain car, i had a 91 560SEL back when and it certainly wasn’t cheap, however i have the facility to park and store it, and an interest in learning to fix certain things myself. The amount of youtube videos and walk throughs out there is impressive!. However having said that i know i’ll have the necessary budget to be able to support it should i need to call a professional. No debt, no mortgage, no wife, no other expensive hobbies, no plans to change that, so i think i have room for a merc.
It also won’t be my daily driver as i have a beater vehicle for that, this will primarily be my weekend toy, hence why i’m looking at an S as i won’t be putting a ton of miles on it.
Anyway that’s my intro and reason for being here! i’ve been a lurker for a while and have learnt a lot from many of the posts. Looking forward to eventually posting my future car
