I recently (within the past few months) picked up a late model year 2011 E63 AMG with the 6.2L M156. This car has/had relatively low miles at only 49k on the odometer. With the exception of a few age related issues (tires ), and issues that the car came with (bad pneumatic seat compressor motor), this car has been excellent.
Owning a car with the 6.2L has been something I've dreamed of for years, and never thought I'd actually get the chance to do. I had been looking at C63s for a while, but decided on an E63 as they're quite a bit nicer interior wise.
