Recently bought my first Mercedes (190E).
Has about 300k kilometers on it, under-body is pretty much rust free (car has been garage kept and is undercoated).
Only one small spot in the trunk that collected water and rusted trough. But that's just a good reason to learn to weld
Done loads of work on it already, runs perfectly now! Still some minors issues and adjustments that have to be sorted out (like adjusting the idle mixture).
I have my own small shop where I have all the tools and space needed to work on my cars. And so, the merc can stay inside, protected from rain and other bad stuff.
Hopefully I can learn something from you guys, and the other way around .
