I've been a silent member here for years... 15, in fact, but I never got around to participating. I'm not really sure why. I guess I didn't have a car to talk about when I signed up initially!
Anyhow, I figured I'll start posting as opposed to simply reading other people's posts now, so I'll begin by introducing myself:
I'm a member from Toronto, Canada, and have been a fan of Mercedes since I was a kid. My grandad had 1990 300E (brand new, at the time) as a company car, which is where my earliest memories stem from.
My own car ownership history is quite sketchy in itself!
1992 BMW 318i - Used: Engine blew the day I bought it!
1991 MB 190e - Used: With transmission and coolant leak issues that lasted a whole year
2011 KIA Forte Koup - New: First brand new car I owned. Actually very reliable and great bang for the buck
2015 MB C400 - Demo: Got an incredible deal on this car, and regret handing it back. Actually still think it was a massive mistake returning this car
2017 MB CLA250 - New: Current car, with lease ending next month, but lease will be extended until the next car arrives
2021 MB A35 AMG - New: The non-AMG AMG. Put in my order in September and expecting to get delivery in either January or February (COVID-19 allowing...)
Other than that, I'm a huge F1 fan (McLaren, rather than Mercedes, though - but next year, they'll be partners again, finally!), and generally a fan of cars in general.
Hope to have some good conversations with you guys, in the coming days, months and years! A friend of mine is a photography nut, and he likes to take pics of my cars
