C63 w204 steering rack replaced, dash lights on!
Hi all, really hoping someone can help. I recently replaced my steering rack on my 2009 w204 c63 with a reconditioned rack. After replacing the rack I drove the car for 2-3 minutes and a bunch of warning lights came on, esp, abs etc. The steering then goes a little heavy (same as when driving at high speed). Initially the computer flagged up speed sensors on the front wheels, so I changed them to be safe side, problems did not go away.
I don’t have the original rack part number but the one on the car now is A20411011018, I hope this is the correct one the rack company provided me. I also replaced the steering valve (located on the rack A2214600184) no luck! Also replaced the battery.
Is someone able to confirm if this is correct rack on my car (unfortunately main dealer won’t tell me). Also, do I need to program the steering valve?
Or has anyone seen this issue before, been going on for months and can’t get to the bottom of it!!
