Hi everyone, I have just purchased a 2017 MB C-Class Convertible (250d) having just jumped from the darker side of German prestige. I am sorry of this is a familiar threat but I wonder if any one can tell me why the engine 'start-stop' does not engage on journeys ? I mainly use Eco or Comfort mode and the weather has been dry and sunny enough to put the roof down. I have put the settings to into start/stop but despite having done long trips, the yellow light on the dash never turns green although the light on the centre console IS green.
There are no warning light, error lights or anything so I am convinced I am doing something wrong ?
