Hello from NE PA
Been a life long gear head and restored and played with many toys but went back to German engineering for the sheer joy of driving.
In the late 80s I restored a couple old Porsche 914s; a '71 1.7L and a '76 2.0. (the poor man's Porsche)
Owned a variety of VWs as well but never an MB.
Ran into my first one a few months back by chance. Picked up an '03 C32 AMG with 71k orig miles in mint shape. After driving it for a month and really enjoying
the ride, I sold it and picked up the current, a '15 E63 AMG S. It's given me back a lot of joy in cruising the roads again.
Also have an '04 Vette that I race and just completed a resto-mod of a '67 GTO powered by a worked LS7.

Nice fleet. A buddy in high school had a 65 GTO with tri-power and Hurst shifter. Dark blue with white interior. Great rod.
