2019 SL450
New member from Nashville
Hello. I've been lurking for a few months prior to and since acquiring a CPO 2019 SL450 from Mercedes Benz of Music City here in Nashville. Car currently has almost 14k miles. Traded a 2019 Infiniti Q60 Red Sport. This is my first Mercedes, first convertible, and I have to say, the best car I've ever driven. The engineering is obvious, and the ride is just the best I've ever experienced.
Since getting the car a few months ago, I've added the $100 eBay rear spoiler from Taiwan (perfect match and fitment), had the car ceramic coated, and replaced the OEM wheels and runflat Continental summer tires (in storage) with Mandrus Millenium wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S non runflats. I much prefer the look of the Mandrus wheels to OEM.
I'm a member of several local AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) clubs and I'm on the Board of the Music City AACA. I also belong to the Nashville Corvette Club and the Middle Tennessee Z (Datsun/Nissan) Club.
We currently also own a 2016 Hyundai Equus Ultimate, a 2017 Hyundai Azera Limited, a 2017 Corvette Grand Sport, a 1995 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo and since 1987, a 1971 Datsun 240Z, currently with 281k miles.
Look forward to being a participating member in 2021, which has to be better than 2020!
