E46 330i

almost a "new" owner of 2005 CLK 500

hi all

i'm planning to get into a CLK 500 from a mutual friend on the BMW forum , currently in a E46 330i m-sport which is simply a fantastic car - 1 of my dream cars , but it's time to try something else and he said i should come have a look and drive the CLK.

he has 2x E46 330i's , 96 540i , M5 , C55 amg , and he is very padantic about his cars and keeps it in top top condition - so it does give some peace of mind buying from somebody like that.
services are up to date , he has done thermostat , MAF and a few other bits and bobs over the 2 year ownership.

upon first getting into the car , i was amazed by the quality of materials , condition , the luxury and features - it has the 7 speed auto. we took it for a test drive and it has some proper get up and go , really pushed me back into the seat when he kicked down....240kph car was dead quiet.

car works out to $6800 (its R105 000 here in south africa)

i have done some homework and maintenance is similar and some parts cheaper than my 330i....it terms of luxury and features it is just galaxies apart.
