Newbie looking at buying 2017 E400
Hello All
We are looking at buying an 2017 E400 3.0 with 49K miles on it. It has the P3 package. What am I getting into? We are replacing my wife's 2005 CKL500. Are there any inherent problems that will be surprising me?

Welcome! The 3.0 TT V6 is the M276 which is more reliable than most. The 9G-Tronic is widely used but I haven't read reports on this site of achieving high mileage. P3 should be well-contented. It will be light years ahead of the CLK in terms of technology. Try posting the question in the W213 section for other known flaws of the body, chassis and electrical system.

Are you looking at a coupe or cabrio? It was my understanding that the E400 was available on the W212 sedan in 2015 and 2016, but the W213 E400 sedan didn't come out until 2018.
Of course, the E400 was probably available on the coupe and cabrio in 2017.
