2020 GLE 350 stalling issues. Buyback process.

Long story short. My 2020 GLE 350 with only 10k miles has stalled several times. Best way to explain it, sit in your car with it turned completely off, press the gas pedal. That’s what we are experiencing but the car is on, rolling, etc. No warning lights, regular drive mode. Very dangerous. Turning left in an intersection, driving on to a freeway, etc. All experiences that we would rather not have. Car has been to service department 2x. Kept a total of 19 days. They can’t reproduce the problem. They stated Mercedes “may” have an update coming in Q2 that “may” fix the issue. No guarantees.
We requested a buyback through MBUSA. I’m waiting on their decision. One would think MBUSA will do the right thing and buyback this vehicle. Our fingers are crossed. Any advice or similar experiences? Thanks all. Stay safe?

Hi and welcome!

I see you did open a discussion in the V167 forum which is a great place to start. Good luck!

Welcome! Sorry to hear about the difficulties. The GLE V167 platform is going through a prolonged period of very difficult problems in the launch.

Hi my 2020 GLE 350 is doing the exact same thing right now. I have taken it to the service department twice and they are unable to recreate. Was MB able to give you any solution?

Try posting the question in the V167 section. Owners will be able to give feedback and suggestions. Sorry you are experiencing this.
