I've recently bought a 2020 C-Class C200d (S205 Station wagon model) with 9-speed automatic transmission.
This is my first Mercedes and, coming from Audi, I have to say I'm pretty happy so far, just few minor rattles and plastic noise, but nothing too fancy compared from what I've heard.

She's not as precious as your Mercedes I've seen throughout this forum, but will do for me, at least for now, as I'm only 29 yo and I've saved some money over the years in order to afford it.
