Hi all, and thanks for hosting this forum - I'm sure I will have a lot of questions evntually. I look forward to browsing the threads and getting a feel for the new car and all the info available here.
After owning 3 BMWs, my mechanic talked me out of buying another one. I wanted to go with a "crossover SUV" and was looking at the X6. He told me that Mercedes quality was far better these days, and that BMW had "lost their way". Interesting, indeed!
So I picked up a "new to me" 2017 GLC300 4Matic with 28K miles on it, and a brand new set of tires. So far I'm loving it! Incredibly solid, quiet, smooth, and surprisingly powerful ride considering the 2.0L turbo engine. I'm still learning all the controls...
