My GLB 250 doesn’t like Saskatchewan
I have had my car for a year now. I love so much about it. But I need to vent as I once again had my screen go blank, it has done this before. The radio still plays, but can’t adjust anything. The screen shows the Mercedes Benz logo, but no functions work. Holding the volume/power button does not work. Shutting the car off and on doesn’t work. You have to shut off the car, get out and lock it, the folding mirrors close. The system shuts down completely. Then we go back in start the car, the screen works. Let’s talk about the adaptive cruise control. I was on the divided highway in the middle of summer beautiful day, the cruise just kicked out. I had a warning that the ACC had been disabled. Nothing I could do to reset it and the cruise control wouldn’t work at all, 200 km with no cruise control. Not impressed. Dealer told me that the sensors get dirty from bugs ( my car was just cleaned) they also told me that with the Saskatchewan landscape, the adaptive cruise control has nothing to familiarize itself to. The white lines are sometimes too faded, as are the yellow lines and the shoulders of the highway are too small. Wow! Really? Also the brake assist kicks out randomly, comes back on when I start the car the next time. At least this doesn’t shut down the entire cruise control system. Then I was told that because these are built in Germany and shipped over there could be problems, I’m sorry, but for the North American market, the Mercedes are assembled in Mexico. Do they not think people may actually research these vehicles... ok that’s my rant, I still love driving this vehicle, i am just disappointed that the tech features that I have invested in heavily, are not made to work in Saskatchewan

Welcome! Please post a photo of the GLB. Have a read through the V167 section of this site, it seems owners there might be having similar, or the same, issues. Post questions there for guidance.
