​​​​How do I remove broken spark plug from my ML320

I WAS TRYING TO REPLACE A SPARK PLUG WHEN IT HAPPENED ALL THAT CAME OUT WAS THE COMPLETE WHITE CERAMICS IN THE PLUG THE METAL GRIP ON THE PLUG ALSO CAME OFF WITH IT . NOW I HAVE THE THREADED SIDE OF THE PLUG STUCK IN THE PLUG HOLE . CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET THE OTHER HALF OF THE PLUG OUT OF THE ENGINE

This is such a common occurrence on Ford's 5.4 V8 that they actually make a special tool for it. I'm not sure if it's universal for other vehicles, but surely you aren't first person to encounter this on a MB. I think this is the tool:
