Interior noise level in a 2017 E 300 4matic

I have bought my MB E 300 4matic used. It had 14,300 miles on it. I've had it for two and a half years and have put 30,000 miles on it driving between New York and Michigan. My only issue is it seems now to be god awful noisy in the cabin now. It hasn't always been this way. I don't know what is causing the noise. I had the B Service in Michigan before heading to New York this week. Nothing at the service center indicated I was having a problem with noise. I should have mentioned it when I brought it to the service center but failed to do so. So that's my fault beside it was raining very heavily so I'm using the rain as my excuse. At first I thought it was the concrete highways. Then I thought it was the transmission. 8th gear seemed to be creating the most noise in my opinion. But on different road surfaces it didn't seem to be as loud. I have 3 run flats on the car one I replaced a year or so ago when one run flat blu out on the highway (Route 80 at the 90 exit). The tire business didn't have a run flat so he replaced it with a equal tire but not a run flat. It got me where I was going and I had no problems. The run flats have over 40,000 miles on them so I'm wondering if that is the problem. Does anyone have any ideas about this problem concerning noise? I certainly would appreciate some help. Thanks.

The tires are more likely the problem. I would spend the money and replace all 4 tires. If you did not have the problem before you replaced one of them then it is logically the problem.

I, too, would vote for the tires. I don't have fun-flats, but I have noticed that as my tires wear, they get progressively noisier. My current set of tires are the Continental DWS-06 all-season rubber. They were nearly silent when new. Now, at about 18K miles, they are so noisy that I am actually considering new tires just to get rid of the racket. At low speeds, like when coming to a stop at a light, I can even feel the vibration in the car until I stop. Grrrrrr. . .

These are my second set of Conti's. There won't be a third.
