I'm 8 months in to owning my first Mercedes and I've seen this forum pop up from time to time in my searches for all things Mercedes related so I figured that now might be a good time to start an account and give my introduction. I should hopefully be able to find pics and when I do, add them here to this post.
The one I've got is a 2002 C320 and it comes with a bit of a story.
The company I work for was shutting one of its offices down - the one I work at and instead of laying us all off, we were given the option to relocate or take a severance. Well the other office was in another city a couple hours away but with me relying on public transit all these years, I was going to need something to commute in the new city and I had honestly had enough of subways and busses. So I figure that maybe it's time to start car shopping and the first place I went was kijiji (and dreading its soul sucking nature).
I really only needed a beater to get me around, so nothing incredibly expensive and I dredged through ad after ad until I saw a 2002 C320 Mercedes for sale. I looked at the price and kilometres and it was being sold through a used dealer for $3000 CAD and only had a touch over 85,000 kms.
Seeing the price and the ridonculously low kms for a car that's almost 20 years old, I swooped it up and I can tell you this much, coming from someone who's nicest car was a '98 Malibu, the difference as you all probably know was night and day. It had features and options I hadn't seen before (like the driver's seat adjusting itself to the ignition keys of different drivers).
The only down side of course when I bought it was that some of the wood trim inside had some cracks in it and also that the bottoms of the doors had some rust on them.
Either way, I'm glad I went with Mercedes and hopefully I can get some pictures up.

I bought a used 2006 CLS55 AMG. Love it! It’s still all stock. I want to get it up to 600+hp but need to fix a few things first. I have. A brake light on that says to take to shop. So trying to figure out what to do first. I have no clue. The closest dealership is 3 hrs away. I had a 2006 Range Rover sport supercharged before this. I had good luck with forums so I thought I’d try this one. So if there’s anyone out there that could help me out it’d be much appreciated.
