No ignition

No ignition
Hi New to this forum and I need some help
I have a 2010 E Class 2.2 CDI
The car has only covered 63k and has been well serviced
I went to start the car yesterday and there was no ignition. The key turned but no dash board lights and no ignition contact
The central locking works and the radio , the boot opener and side lights work but nothing else
The baterry is fully charged and the AA who came out checked the fuses and they were fine
The AA mechanic left after an hour and had no idea what the problem was
Has any one here have any history of this problem ?

Welcome did they check both batteries? and the ground wires If the ground is not good car will not start

I jumped in the car this morning , turned the key and the car started !!!
Stopped it, and it would not start again
Tha AA had a arranged a recovery truck to take the vehicle to the local Merc garage, jumped in the car and it started
As far as the 2 batteries the AA man said there was only one battery ?
I alway thought the same as you there were 2
