New with 9th wagon

Just picked up my 9th Station wagon, my 1st Mercedes wagon a 2017 E400 luxury diamond silver, the other wagons: 2 Audi A6's 97 & 03; Volvo 740 - all with wood sides - Pontiacs 78 Lemans; 2 Colony Parks 89 & 85; Olds Ciera and the required Ford Country Squire.
This is 4th Mercedes starting with a 1970 280sl, replaced a 73 Alfa spyder, the 280sl was worse than the Alfa, 2008 CLK350 cabriolet, replaced 05 Crossfire convert, the CLK was a great car till it snowed; 2010 ML350 - still have it is bullet proof; and the E400 is replacing a 15 Audi A5 Cab. engine was destroyed by road debris.
The wagon has most all the options that I wanted and does not have the big sunroof, which for me is a plus. Live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia so snow is an issue.
have had the car for a couple of days, had to fly to dealer to pick up and drove it home, about 500 miles, and it was awesome, am amazed at the technology even from a 2015.
got the car with the 3 year certification, hope I never have to use, had the 2 year on the CLK and ML and never used

Haven't found 1 of the 87 Volvo - perhaps because we all hated the car. remember 2 year leases? that's what the Volvo was on, they got it back!

The car from 5' away looked absolutely new, but like any car, specially and old one if you don't drive it, its going to be a problem. I replace EVERY! gasket and seal in engine, trans, brakes. all window and door actuators ( not all were broken but since door cards were off) Closed business, retired and car sat in driveway most of 2019 - drove it 500 miles - not good - sold it in 2020 with 61,000 miles for what I had in it. $6000. came back on sale this summer sold for $13,000 - they over paid.
