w210 e320 wagon 4matic brake swap from c32 amg
Hi all,
If this has been addressed on a previous post, sorry. I spent hours trying to find info in vein. Has someone installed C32 brakes on a 1999 w210 e320 wagon 4matic.
Here's what I know: People say the 4matic have a different set up in front but I have checked with a few autoparts supplier and on the same year/model the part # of the caliper is the same on 4matics and rwd.
I don't care about the trailing/leading debate, I know people have done it without issues. This is no race car, if I want to race, I use my rally car. I just want my daily to be able to stop from 200 without instantly warping the rotors, the brakes sucks.
I know it has been done easily on rwd and cant think why it wouldn't work on a 4matic.
Before I fabricate my own stainless, braided brake lines, is there a company making them ? I have searched in vein.
I already have the brakes.and 17"s from a c32.
Hope to get reliable comeback from guys like cm60k (Zayed) , sounds like he knows his stuff a lot more than the average. I'd rather have no comments from people that think it can work or heard it can work, I want info from people that have done it themselves.
