Question on Intake Camshart Adjuster with Camshaft Bolt
I have a 2013 MB 350 4Matic Sedan, and recently took the car in for a Check Engine light. in further inspection, I had a Fault Code PO34600 and was told that the Driver Side Intake Camshaft Adjuster with Camshaft Bolt, Part# A 276 050 02 78 with Sealant for Cam Cover needed to be replaced - total cost was near $2,800. At first glance this appeared excessive. Have others had similar problems and if so, was this price in the ballpark?
Also, I'm assuming that the bulk of this charge is labor, and this is just one small part that works together with other parts of the Camshaft. Are there other parts that should be replaced at the same time?
