2003 s55 amg
Glad to be here!
Hello to all. Big time fan/lurker of the mb world site. Finally took the time to join in the fun. Long term performance addiction led me to my 2003 s55 amg about a year and half ago. It started with American muscle in the form of gm's 4th gen camaro/firebird (had 5/6 over the years). But the lure of a v12 in a '95 bmw 750il proved too much to resist though, and sucked me into the Euro void. After that I got hooked on forced induction and went through a Jag phase (3 Xjrs from the 2000's). Then divine intervention happened. Somehow I found the s55(or maybe it found me) and drove it 3 hours home, for $3585. (I do love me some depreciation). Still smile every time I get in. Especially when the accelerator pedal gets pressed. (not so much when the red abc message pops up though lol). Luckily I am pretty handy with a wrench. Hopefully with some help from the real guru's here and some scraped knuckles I can keep her flame burning bright for many more miles/years to come. Looking forward to being part of the community.
