I had no intentions when I bought it, I jumped on to an auction site and it was the next lot going under the hammer. Listed as an AMG E55, I had no hesitation in throwing in a bid. Once the dust settled it turned out to be an E 320 with some AMG bits attached to it. I was majorly disappointed and went to cancel the purchase. A bit of negotiation and I picked it up for a much lesser amount, and it is still a very fine vehicle to own, just not the absolute bargain I thought I had bought at first. It was a damn cheap Limousine.

I am still unsure of my plans, beyond a family road trip up the east coast of Australia, I have done the thing most us do and looked at the upgrade options, but I don't really need a vehicle project at the moment, so I will probably just enjoy it as is. If I fall absolutely in love with it, then I may sell a different toy to fund a big horsepower gain: time will tell. I have no intentions of selling this or parting with it, my kids can ride to my funeral in it and then fight amongst themselves for it.

178k on it, full service history since new ( which I have yet to read). Was in service until COVID lockdown saw a wedding reception centre need to liquidate. (Melbourne, world's longest lockdown city)
