I have a 2001 E430 Mercedes base model rear wheel drive in California I need to replace the catalytic convertes I wanted them to be direct fit so i can do the job myself now being in Cali I found 3 options that are CARB compliant the OEM, magma flow, and AP Eastern now im looking to make this car my project car and I wanted to make the car faster so performance wise does changing the catalytic converters do anything with that? If so which brand should I go with I was also thinking about replacing the whole exhaust system to make the car perform better then stock so please throw me any reccomendations
