2012 S550 4matic
Not new, but new today.

I believe I'm a member of one of the MB forums out there, and when I tried to reset my password, the site didn't recognize my new phone, so I just made a new account.

2012 S550 4matic, with many headaches, the fastest not being able to get into my car with the bladed key. Key turns to the left but no action on the visible door lock.

You need to turn the key blade and repeatedly pull the handle until the lock button pops up.
It will seem weird, but that's how it works.

lube the lock cyl lots and gentle key wiggling for 10-20 mins adding lots of lube - as they never get used, often need to help 15 years of road gunk go on holiday - then they should move both ways or all the way

as there is no other way into the boot - ALL - owners need to regularly try this trick - as the rear of all cars suffers lock issues to a far greater extent than locks on the sides
