S63 Lease Numbers
Just got a quote on a 2014 S63 loaded. Getting a quote on a sign and drive with 1 month depostt. @ $3k/ month for 3 years. Taxes rolled into payment. Seems like a high price, perhaps because the car is super new? What lease rates is everyone getting?

Definitely seems high.
Although AMG's values plummet rapidly, you would be spending 108k for 36 months, with no doubt a mileage restriction of prob 12k per year.
For that kind of money, you would be better off buying the vehicle.
You could put twice that number of miles on it, keep it for 4 years, and still probably sell it for enough to lose less than 100k.
Do some research on ebay and autotrader to see how much the actual depreciation hit is at the 2,3 and 4 year marks.

Loosing money on cars sucks, but is inevitable . Try to minimize. Sometimes it's a hassle to buy and worry about selling , benefits of leasing is -when you're done you wash your hands and walk away. 2500-3000 seems about right for a lease on that car.
