S600 vs S65 (question)
I have two questions and I hoping that you guys on MBworld can help me.
1. What's the difference between driving a V8 S550 and driving a V12 S600. Is it like the difference between driving a V6 that can do 0-60 in 6.0 seconds and a V8 that can do 0-60 in 6.0 seconds. I have driven this comparison and even though both cars can do the same 0-60 the V8 just does is so much more smoothly. I'm wondering if the difference from going V8 to V12 is just a more smooth and effortless ride?
2. What's the difference between the S65 and the s600. both have V12's... I know that the AMG cars are tuned to have more HP but do they drive differently? Like if I was to drive the S65 and the s600 back to back would the S600 drive more like a boat (think like Lexus LS) and the S65 more like a sports car?
P.S I know that both these cars are only available on the W221 so we can use that for comparison.

S65,G550,GL550,CLS550
S600 has 510 horse power 5.5L engine and is less aggressive then s63 and s65
S65 has 621 horse power 6.0L engine amg , super aggressive you can tell the difference by the exhaust note this thing is a beast, still very elegant and professional
To feel the power of the v12 high end speed and torque.
Price difference s600 = $175,000. S65 = $230,000
Personally I've never driven a s600.
But we've had an S63 and currently an s65.
Either one will do . For the price id go with S63.
I'd skip the s600 if your going to go big go for the 65 all the way. But I really loved the 63. After we are done with this 65 I think we will go back to 63.
Regular s550 compared to s65 is hardly comparable. They are both beautiful.
S550 is an amazing vehicle very confer able and still powerful. The s63 and s65 are beast if you can afford it and justify the purchase do it!!
